Tsoukalades
Tsoukalades is a picturesque village situated in a privileged area on the way to some of the most well-known beaches of the island; the spotless sea of Pefkoulia (2 klm), the beautiful sandy beach of Agios Nikitas (4 klm) with crystal clear waters, the big golden sandy beach of Kathisma, Egremni and the famous Porto Katsiki, which is among the better beaches of the Mediterranean. Lefkada
Lefkada is one of the Ionian Islands, located between Corfu and Kefalonia and in proximity to coasts of weste continental Greece. Lefkada benefits from easy access as it is connected with the mainland by a floating bridge of 50m. How to reach:
By car: The island can be reached from Athens in about 4 hours and 30 minutes drive (Athens – Lefkada: 378Kms) or from Salonica in about 5 hours drive (Salonica - Lefkada 420kms), Since there is no need to worry about ferry tickets.
By interurban busses (KTEL): itineraries daily from Athens to Lefkada and vice versa, as well as itineraries daily from Salonica to Lefkada and vice versa.
By airplane: domestic flights from Athens daily; from Salonica flights to Preveza / Aktion airport, then bus or taxi to Lefkada Island (20kms).
